The Insider Interviews series started in 2010 as a set of recorded interviews, featuring the likes of Tom HiddlestonGareth Unwin, who produced THE KING’S SPEECHBen Wheatley and Hossein Amini, the Oscar-nominated writer of DRIVE and THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY. You can watch these here.

The Insider Interviews now exist as live monthly events in central London, which is a combination of a compered interview and taking questions from audience members.  If you would like to check out future speakers and join an Insider Interviews Live evening, you can see more details here.

Kevin Lehane

Kevin Lehane is an Irish screenwriter and an IFTA award nominee. He is best known for the hilarious 2012 film GRABBERS. Set on a small island off the coast of Ireland, the town is invaded by bloodsucking aliens and the only way to survive is to get drunk.

The speculative script was highlighted on the Brit List 2009 and production began the following year. In 2013, he was nominated for a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award for Best First Feature-Length Film Screenplay and an Irish Film & Television Academy Award for Best Script.

The interview below was conducted with Kevin in September 2014.
