The Insider Interviews: Jack Thorne

The Insider Interviews series started in 2010 as a set of recorded interviews, featuring the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Gareth Unwin, who produced THE KING’S SPEECH, Ben Wheatley and Hossein Amini, the Oscar-nominated writer of DRIVE and THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY. You can watch these here.

Jack Thorne

Jack Thorne is a BAFTA award-winning British writer known for THE FADES and THIS IS ENGLAND ’88. His credits include TV shows, SKINS, CAST-OFFS, THIS IS ENGLAND ’86, THIS IS ENGLAND ’90, THE LAST PANTHERS as well as radio and theatre productions.

In 2009, he released his first feature film called THE SCOUTING BOOK FOR BOYS and it won him Best Newcomer at the London Film Festival. He has also received the Sony Radio Academy Gold Award for Best Drama in 2010. Since this interview, Jack’s involvement has been confirmed in the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
