The Insider Interviews: Robert McKee

The Insider Interviews series started in 2010 as a set of recorded interviews, featuring the likes of Tom HiddlestonGareth Unwin, who produced THE KING’S SPEECHBen Wheatley and Hossein Amini, the Oscar-nominated writer of DRIVE and THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY. You can watch these here.

Robert McKee

Robert McKee is a creative writing instructor known for his influential screenwriting bible Story: Substance, Structure, Style and the Principles of Screenwriting and for his popular Story Seminars which take place across the globe.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He has worked with major film and television production companies including, Paramount, Disney, 20th Century Fox, as well as NASA, Microsoft, and television news departments. His lectures are attended regularly by creative and writing staff from Nickelodeon, Disney, ABC, Miramax, PBS and Paramount.
