The Insider Interviews: Gareth Unwin

The Insider Interviews series started in 2010 as a set of recorded interviews, featuring the likes of Tom HiddlestonGareth Unwin, who produced THE KING’S SPEECHBen Wheatley and Hossein Amini, the Oscar-nominated writer of DRIVE and THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY. You can watch these here.

Gareth Unwin

Gareth Ellis-Unwin is best known for producing THE KING’S SPEECH, which won him an Academy Award for Best Picture and BAFTA awards for Best Film and the Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film. It went on to become the highest grossing British independent film of all time. He is also the co-founder and CEO of the London-based Bedlam Film Productions.

Gareth is a voting member of AMPAS, BAFTA, PGA and PGGB. He is an Honorary Fellow of Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication where he regularly lectures. He frequently collaborates with the International charity Cinemagic, which works to encourage and inspire young people with the ambition to work within the film industry.
